Norwich - a city where history and the future meet

Norwich is just 100 miles from London with excellent bus and rail links. It has an established Chinese community and is an exciting city with plenty to see and do and a great student social scene. It has a vibrant nightlife with many clubs and bars and there is also a good choice of theatres, cinemas, restaurants, parks and museums.

Norwich’s famous football club, the Canaries, offers the opportunity to see First Division matches in a modern stadium, and the city centre boasts one of the finest shopping centres in the country, with big stores alongside superb specialist shops and the largest permanent outdoor market in the country. For home comforts, there are Chinese grocers, restaurants and Chinese medicine/herbal practitioners within the City.

The city also has many wonderful historic buildings including an 11th century castle built by William the Conqueror and a magnificent Cathedral. Norwich is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the county of Norfolk. Nearby are the famous Norfolk Broads, the UK's newest National Park and an area of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife.
