‘Why we love London’
Hear what other students have to say about studying in London

Shiyao Wang‘London is a centre for learning and has the best reputation in the world. In addition, there are a number of libraries in London, so no matter where you are it is easy to find the books for your course. London is one of the world’s most remarkable and exciting cities. It has something to offer every type of student and is the best place for a foreign student to study English. There are endless things to do in London – from the nightlife to sport, shopping to theatre, art to dining – there’s always something to do and people to meet’
Shiyao Wang, Education Management student from China

Prashant Bhardwaj‘Living and studying in London enabled me to gain much more than a qualification. It helped me broaden my experience of life and not only acquire knowledge and practical skills but also widen my horizons by living in the joys of a city rich in history and culture. London is a truly cosmopolitan city and I meet people from all walks of life and ethnic background who study, live or work here’

Jacqueline Papo‘London is the best place to study because of its richness of experience – both academic and non academic. It’s impossible to live in London and not be impressed by all the cultural, intellectual and social opportunities it has to offer. I try to maximise each day by making time to visit London’s many museums and galleries, listen to concerts or get some fresh air and exercise in the parks. Before arriving in London I wasn’t sure how I would adapt to ‘city life’, but I must admit I have truly enjoyed every moment of it’
Jacqueline Papo, Public Health and Health Promotion student from Switzerland

‘London is the international centre for higher education. It is a city of colour and contrast, of ancient history and 21st century modernity, a melting pot of the world’s cultures and nationalities and there is absolutely no better option than London. I have learnt a lot after coming to London, like how to keep up with its fast pace of life, but wherever you go in London you will be warmly welcomed’
Alishah Sikander Gowani, Maths and Finance student from Pakistan

Susumu Hara‘I love studying in London because London it is the most international city in the world. You can enjoy many kinds of food from all over the world and you can even study international cooking.
From London it’s easy to travel and explore the rest of the UK and Europe or, like me, you can cycle around the city and visit all the museums – my favourite is the Science Museum. As museums are free you can return and don’t have to rush to see them all in one day’
Susumu Hara, Multi-Media Computing with Video Production student from Japan
